Winterization Services
Every year before the snow, it is necessary to winterize your sprinkler system to prevent any damages to the irrigation during those cold winter months. Weing’s Sprinkler will start winterizing residential and commercial irrigation systems towards the end of September.
Things to do prior to winterizing:
– shut supply line off to irrigation system and make sure drain valve (if present) is closed
– additional charges may apply if we are required to make a 2nd or 3rd visit to accomplish winterizing due to supply lines being left open
– in the event of early frost, shut supply line off, cover water service connections and drain supply line if possible.
Things to do after system is winterized
– Open Drain (if present)
– Look after our invoice, which will either be left behind or mailed
